Position: Donnelly’s Server

Job description:

The Donnelly’s fine Dining Server must be an enthusiastic team player providing a variety of food service tasks. The Donnelly’s Server reports directly to the Donnelly’s Manager and the Donnelly’s Dining Room Service Captain.

Qualifications:

* Ability to follow all WMV cleaning and sanitation standards

* Read, comprehend and follow all employee requirements stated in the WMV Employee Handbook

* Possess a current Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card and abide by all WMV Safety standards and uniform standards including non-skid shoes

* Show a willingness to consistently perform all necessary food service tasks including:

o All essential functions of the job

o Food and beverage knowledge and preparation standards

* Donnelly’s essential service standards, outstanding resident and guest relations as well as proper etiquette at all times

Duties:

* Must possess the ability to greet and provide cocktail service to our residents and their guests in the lounge and the dining room

* Must possess the ability to bring the guests safely from the lounge to the dining room, seating and menu service

* The ability to consistently serve and clear in accordance with proper Donnelly’s standards

* Must provide cocktail and wine service in lounge and dining room

* Must acquire all necessary menu comprehension, food and beverage knowledge and abide by all service standards

* Must be open to guerdon tableside cooking training and presentations

* Must have a willingness and flexibility for bar and wine service training

* Captain must consistently display a hospitable, stable, positive attitude with all residents, guests, and WMV co-workers

* Must be attentive to the special needs of WMV residents and their guests

* Must acquire the knowledge of all Donnelly’s appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items

* Display the ability to effectively and accurately use the dining room POS system

* The ability to perform all dining room set up and breakdown sidework responsibilities including rotating dish night responsibilities

* Must perform other department duties or special assignments as directed by the Donnelly’s Manager

* Must show a willingness and flexibility to work catering and special event functions at WMV

Physical Requirements:

* Be able to perform the necessary duties to set, clear, and reset the dining room.

* Requires the ability to safely lift 50 pounds and carry a Donnelly’s oval service tray with four dinners to and from the kitchen

* Requires the ability to safely transport carts to and from the kitchen during set up and breakdown of the dining room.
