Job Description

1. Cook meals to order.

2. Ensure proper sanitation is being maintained at all times.

3. Supervise employees to ensure all tasks are completed timely.

4. Manage labor hours to stay within budget.

5. Plan for each event using the event order.

6. Order all product in advance to ensure a successful event.

7. Prepare food for catered events.

8. Manage food cost.

9. Consistently maintain food quality to company and brand standards.

10. Learn and utilize the company purchasing/invoice accounting system (Birchstreet anc Avendra).

11. Maintain consistent food presentation during meal periods and throughout the meal period transitions.

12. Communicate with the appropriate staff members to ensure the customer is completely satisfied.

13. Complete all other reasonable tasks to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.
