Job Description

Oversees management, budget, and operation of the food and beverage service outlets, catering services, and kitchen, and maintains liaison with sales department to ensure maximum profitability. Ensures all policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to. Directs subordinates accomplish goals and objectives of the operation. Must be knowledgeable about food and beverage service equipment and production practices. Ensures the proper preparation and service of food and beverages to the satisfaction of guest, hotel, SHG, health, and safety standards.

The Food and Beverage Director will oversee and organize activities of the Food and Beverage department including, but not limited to the kitchen, banquet operations, restaurant, room service and bar. It is the Director's responsibility to maintain a high standard of Food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Some duties include reviewing and evaluating customer satisfaction, hiring and training staff and ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures that relate to Food and beverage, as well as local, state and federal law regulations. We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, strategic and personable leader who can effectively organize a department under the standards of Shaner Hotels.
