What will I be doing?

The Brasa Meat Server will be responsible for presenting and serving their meat selection throughout the Restaurant. The Meat Server carves selections of meat table side where Guests can choose from 12 succulent cuts that are constantly in rotation. This Team Member must adhere to specific dining room service guidelines and ensure that all Guests feel Cared for, Valued and Respected. A Meat Server at Brasa will assist Guests with any requests in a calm and professional manner and take ownership of Guest issues when they arise. In addition to the Front of House duties, the Meat Server will also participate in preparation procedures prior to the beginning of dinner service which involves butchering and skewering of the evenings selection, while keeping in mind proper knife handling procedures.

Experience

    -A minimum of 6 months' experience in similar type of role preferred
    -Butchering experience is an asset
    -Experiencing working in an entry level Line Cook position is an asset

    -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


Physical Demands

    -Ability to carry 10-15 lbs at all times, and able to stand for long periods of time

Requirements

    -Required to provide a certificate proving completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers (e-course provided by the Ministry of Labour)
    -Must be available to work a variety of all shifts including days and evenings (weekends, long weekends, Holidays)
